Come join us for an introductory class!
Come experience the power and energy of wadaiko! Classes are open to all who are interested in learning. This will be a basic introduction to Gouken’s style and covers some of the fundamentals needed. If you have seen or heard of Japanese drumming before and have always been curious to try, please contact us for an introductory class. You just might love it!
Workshops and Private Lessons
Workshops are a great way to be introduced to the Japanese drumming experience. Wadaiko Gouken offers workshops to those interested in learning the art of wadaiko and also to those who are experienced. Our workshops can be created in different ways to meet your needs.
We also offer private lessons to beginners and experienced players. Please contact us ahead of time to schedule a private lesson.
Beginner classes are held on Saturdays at 11:00am
- 1st Introductory Class: FREE
- New Student 18 and over: $65
- Single Class: $30
- New Student 15 – 17 yrs: $45
*A one-time $30 materials fee will be due at first class session*
