Biography
Founded in 2015 at CalArts by the enthusiastic students who love Japanese music, led by Kozue Matsumoto.
We enjoy Japanese music in these ways!
- Lean and play traditional and contemporary Japanese pieces
- Arrange Japanese folk songs and film scores (like Studio Ghibli)
- Improvise and collaborate with various music in the world and various composers with new ideas
- Perform in schools, festivals, art galleries, and Japanese gardens in the LA area
